Wild Talents: Pirates! - Dramatis Personae

Edward “The Bull” Jenkins: Our first Briton, Edward is an experienced sailor and has gained a reputation as a stalwartly loyal man after being on the receiving end of two mutinies under two different captains. He is a large and burly gentleman with an honest face and a quick laugh. His last voyage from London ended when he was forced to abandon his loyalty to his captain as the man went gradually insane, since then he has come to the Caribbean to make his fortune far from the dangerous questions that might be asked back home.
The Bull is Driven and has so far focused on Hyperpugilism. 

Albinus Wade: A young Dutch boy from a broken home Albinus (just Al to most) fled to the sea aboard the first vessel that would take him. After crossing the Atlantic, Albinus began to get flashes of premonition and impressions of emotion and thought from other people. When his crew turned out to be pirates out for quick coin he was unfazed until the first combat when he was tormented by the pain and suffering of their victims and rendered nearly catatonic. A friend aboard the crew hid him aboard the wreck to keep him safe, and that friend’s subsequent death left him adrift in the Caribbean. He believes that God has smitten him with these visions, he wears a blindfold to mitigate their potency, and has promised to do good if God will but lessen his pain.

Albinus is Cursed with Telepathy (with Can’t Hurt Others), Precognition and Detect [Human Suffering] all with Hard Dice and Always On when he takes his blindfold off his powers increase but make him Loopy.

Jim: The second Englishman Jim was another young man who thought to seek his fortune on the sea. He speaks and now dresses above his station. The crew of the vessel he was aboard turned out to be mutinous from the start, and he played along with their take-over out of fear for his safety. Once they had control of the ship the pirates could seek a treasure that they had acquired a map to. The treasure turned out to be real, and deadly. Once the chest they found was opened all but Jim were killed by an eerie green light and Jim himself was heavily wounded. The chest contained a sharp blade, and fine sailor’s garb… which after putting on he could not seem to remove. Jim is now bound by the treasures to do good, but given the tools he needs to succeed. Unfortunately he did not have the strength to avoid being arrested for the piracy of his companions.
Jim is Cursed, each of his powers will backfire if he acts un-righteously, so far he has discovered the powers of his blade (Harm Touch Only) and his lucky, blow-attracting hat (Heavy Armor, Depleted – the hat falls off)

Azaka: In counterpoint to the Europeans, Azaka is a Haitian native. He is a tall slender man, with a dangerous, tribal look about him. Azaka was brought up in the Haitian tradition of Voodoo and is an aspiring Houngan himself. He has set out into the world to gain strength and knowledge, bringing only his medicine bag and a crystal that his master gave him. So far he has made it only to the other side of the island.
Azaka is a Sorceror, so far he has not enough dice in Spellcasting to really do anything, but his teacher’s crystal is actually a phylactery that can revive him if he should fall (Second Chance).
